THE FOUNDERS
In 2005 Andrej Razumovsky (Austria) and his cousin André Hoffmann (Switzerland), both descendants of traditionally wine-making families, planned to found a boutique winery in Mendoza, Argentina.
Inspired by the heritage of wine and thinking about the future of that passion, Alpamanta was born. Biodynamics is the fundamental principle of the project, respecting the natural privileges of terroir in order to make high-end quality wines, in a harmonious relationship between the ecosystem and its people.
Love for the land
Alpamanta means love for the land. Care for the land is what determined the path to develop our vineyards, our winery and our wines. From Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, an innovative and revolutionary project was created, where we stablished, through regenerative agriculture, a balanced ecosystem, leaving a better place than we found. Completing our circle in world-class wines with environmental awareness.
OUR TEAM
In our team, each member plays a fundamental role as parts of a whole, working with commitment, professionalism and passion. For us, it is a privilege and a responsibility to be part of the Alpamanta team.
Andrej Razumovsky
OWNER & FOUNDER
Andrej, of Austrian and Danish origin, from Ukrainian noble heritage, came to Argentina in the late 90s to work in an important Software company, which is how he met his wife Úrsula, a professional chef from Buenos Aires. Their passion for the world of wine and food made them dream of having a winery in Mendoza. They are considered as the designers of Alpamanta, ensuring the project is oriented towards respect for the environment, nature and its people.
Victoria Brond
WINEMAKER
With a degree in oenology, 20 years of experience in the wine industry and trained in biodynamic agriculture, Victoria joined the Alpamanta team to share her knowledge and to help us work on the continuous improvement of our wines. In 2023 she was awarded as Breakthrough Winemaker of the year by Guía Descorchados, the prestigious publication of journalist Patricio Tapia (Chile).
Ricardo García
AGRONOMIST
Ricardo has been a part of our team since 2014. He is in charge of coordinating the planning and management of our vineyards, remaining faithful to our biodynamic philosophy.
